Progressive Voices (formerly the Speakers Clearinghouse) is dedicated to promoting the diverse voices with ideas and solutions critically needed in our global community today. As a public service, we provide access to independent media and to analysts and activists addressing the vital issues of economic, environmental and social justice.
Progressive Voices speakers and performers address environmental and consumer issues, human and civil rights, as well as global, multicultural, media, women and gender issues.
We offer cutting edge lecture and performing artist programs for every budget whether it be for a convocation, orientation or a coffeehouse. We are a current associate member of the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA).

In 2000, at age 90, Doris became a national heroine when she completed a 14-month walk across America to bring attention to campaign finance reform. In 2004, at age 94, she ran for the US Senate. Her book, Granny D: You’re Never Too Old To Raise a Little Hell, is required reading at some colleges.
