Riane Eisler is best known for her international bestseller The Chalice and the Blade: Our History, Our Future. It has been translated into 17 languages and was described by anthropologist Ashley Montagu as "the most important book since Darwin's Origin of Species." It introduced her "partnership model" which is applied to day-to-day life, spirituality, sexuality, economics, the environment, gender and diversity issues and education.

Dr. Eisler's later books including The Partnership Way, Sacred Pleasure, Women, Men, and the Global Quality of Life, and Tomorrow's Children. Dr. Eisler is a charismatic speaker who keynotes conferences and campus programs worldwide.
